We are currently witnessing a masterclass in what I like to call “Moral Liquidity Arbitrage.” The Hasbara machine hasn’t just been ratcheted up; it’s been fitted with a nitro-boosted, AI-driven engine and launched into a brick wall of reality at two hundred miles an hour.

The Product Rebrand: The Gaza Model (Lebanon Edition)
It’s brilliant, isn’t it? As Mark might say, if you’ve spent the last year turning Gaza into a car park and you suddenly decide you fancy doing the same to Beirut, you don’t call it an “invasion.” That’s so 20th century. No, you call it a “Targeted Urban Rejuvenation Project” against a “human shield” that apparently includes the entire Levantine population and several species of local shrubbery.
They’re dropping leaflets over Lebanon now, real Alexei territory, mocking the survivors by telling them how “successful” the Gaza model was. It’s like a serial killer leaving a Yelp review for the victim’s house: “Fantastic ventilation, five stars, would definitely pulverise again.”
The Narrative Silos and the “Humanisation Paradox”
From a Gillian perspective, what we’re seeing is a desperate attempt to manage a “Moral Capital Insolvency.” When the International Court of Justice is breathing down your neck and the ICC is handing out arrest warrants like flyers for a failing nightclub, you have to flood the market with synthetic legitimacy.

The Absolute Absurdity
The current surge is the sound of a regime that has lost the argument but still owns the megaphone. They are shouting into the void that they are the “only democracy in the Middle East” while simultaneously trying to jail anyone who tweets a picture of a crater.
It’s a grift. It’s a fraud. It’s a multi-billion dollar attempt to convince the world that the “Gaza Model” is a luxury export rather than a blueprint for global sociopathy. They aren’t trying to win your heart; they’re trying to exhaust your brain until you give up and go back to watching videos of cats playing the piano.
And they’re doing it with the desperate, sweaty intensity of a man trying to explain to his wife why there’s a dead body in the trunk by arguing that the concept of “death” is actually a sophisticated form of antisemitic propaganda.
The truth hasn’t changed; the volume has just been turned up to “Genocidal Screech.”
