To understand the contemporary political landscape, we must critically examine a deeply unsettling paradox: the sudden, fervent support of Israel by elements of the radical and far-right. When non-Jewish extremists adopt the mantle of pro-Israel advocacy, it requires rigorous historical and moral scrutiny. This alignment is rarely rooted in a genuine commitment to Jewish safety, self-determination, or the mitigation of antisemitism. Rather, it is a highly transactional, utilitarian exercise.
When we deconstruct this phenomenon, we uncover the mechanics of conditional support, a dynamic where Jewish communities are not treated as equals, but as geopolitical instruments.
